The Premier Experience

For the 2nd year in a row, DSC has yet again raised the bar for competitive players in Metro Atlanta.  The Premier Experience was developed to push the most competitive, premier players to a level they have never been pushed before.  To accomplish this task, DSC has recruited staff that have played at THE HIGHEST LEVEL possible in the world!  Drawing staff members from the English Premier League gives participants in The Premier Experience the opportunity to see what it really takes to make it to the top!  Players will be coached directly by these soccer legends.  This experience is not suited for recreational players.  The Premier Experience is only for players, from any club that lives, breathes, drinks, and eats soccer 24/7!  Space is limited to 20 players per coach MAX!

Directions on how to register:

• We are using a new camp registration platform; click on the link above.
• All new users will need to setup a user account.  Click on the "Register" button in the top right hand corner, and create your new user account.  You will only have to do this once, so remember your username and password!
• Once you setup an account you should be able to login.  The first thing you'll need to do will be to click on "My Account".
• Next you will need to click on the link "Add Participant".  This will allow you to add your player/child.
• Fill out the form, and click "Next" if you only have one player to register, or click "Add Another Participant" if you have multiple players you need to register.
• Once you add your players, you can click on "View Available Programs" from the "My Account" screen.  This automatically pull up a list of all programs that your child is elgibile (by age) to participate in.  Simply select the program(s) you are interested in, and click "Next".
• Follow the onscreen directions from here on out!  If you register before April 1st, you WILL receive the early bird discount in the final checkout step.

The Premier Experience Staff

Ray Hall - Everton FC Academy Director (1991-2011):  Ray developed MANY English Premier League Stars; the most notable of which is Wayne Rooney.  He brings over 20 years of experience developing some of the best players in the world.  You don't want to miss the once in a lifetime opportunity to be influenced by one of the worlds most respected Youth Academy Directors!












Steve Guppy - Former England National Team Player:  Steve enjoyed a long professional playing career spanning nearly 20 years!  Steve played for the likes of Newcastle United, Leicester City, Leeds United, Stoke City, Celtic (Scottish Premier League) and even had a stint with D.C. United in the MLS!  He most recently worked as a first team coach at Sunderland (a Premier League Club), and was also a coach for the Colorado Rapids.  Lately, Steve has been freelance coaching for local clubs, and is currently training one of Fulham's up-and-coming stars!  He has developed a unique 1v1 attacking training program which he will showcase at this year's Premier Experience!

Muzzy Izzett - Former Chelsea and Leicester City Standout (Former English Premier League Player):

Muzzy's career spanned 15 years and several clubs.  While he spent the majority of his career alongside Steve Walsh at Leicester City, he also played at world-reknowned Chelsea FC for several years.  Muzzy was known for his goal scoring prowess, and hist unbelievable creativity with the ball at his feet.  Just check the web for some great videos of Muzzy in action!  



 


 

Shaun Teale - Former Aston Villa Player (Former English Premier League Player):  Shaun Teale, through sheer determination, hard work, and a will to win, had an incredible career in the highest playing level in the world, The Premier League.  Shaun played an excess of 450 career games as a central defender, and in so doing won the League Cup with Premier League Club, Aston Villa.

Steve Walsh - Leicester City (Former English Premier League Player)  This man needs no introduction to the people of Leicester. Steve Walsh signed for Leicester City from Wigan Athletic in 1986 for just £100,000 and over the next 14 years he became an adopted son of the city and a hero to thousands of football fans.
Steve was known for his tough-tackling and uncompromising style, both as a central defender and at times, to great effect, as an emergency striker. His two goals at Wembley in May 1994, achieved Leicester’s first win in seven attempts at the national stadium and years later he became a key part of the club’s most successful era under the tremendous management of Martin O’Neill. In 1997 he lifted the Coca-Cola Cup beating Middlesborough 1-0 in a replay that earned him the Alan Hardaker man of the match award. He played at wembley a staggering 7 times in the nineties 4 play-off finals and three league cups. He turned down a £750,000 bid from Spurs to stay with his beloved Leicester City.
In the Premier League, Steve faced up to the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and held his own, as he led the club into their first appearance in Europe since the 1960s, along with a remarkable four consecutive top ten finishes. He was awarded a testimonial season in 1997 and the likes of David Seaman, Paul Gascoigne and even Chris Evans, showed up and took part in the celebrations of Steve’s loyalty to Leicester.
Steve left Leicester City in 2000 after making over 500 appearances, scoring over 60 goals. He later played for Norwich City, Coventry City and finished at Tamworth Football Club. 
He was voted in a BBC poll as Leicester City fans’ all-time cult hero and is a true ambassador for the club and the city, living in Leicester, despite being from Preston. He is still involved in football. He has a very successful soccer academy with ex Leicester City colleague Muzzy Izzet and works in hospitality for City on matchdays.
